Transform Hii-Z 1/4 inch input to balanced Lo-Z XLR output with the Rapco DB-1 The DB-1's simple design offers reliable input jacks as well as a loop-through 1/4 inch jack. Plug any instrument level signal (and some line level) into the box, interface with a standard XLR mic cable into the Lo-Z output, and you're ready to plug the output "directly" into a mixing console. A ground lift switch is provided for buzz-free operation in almost any environment. |

| For a passive DI, this one works great! One time, someone had put another brand
DI on an instrument. While I cued it on the mixer, it just didn't sound right. I
went up and changed to the DB-1 and the player's jaw dropped, "WOW!" It even
sounds descent on bass guitars (but I would prefer an active box there). This is
my goto passive DI. |
