When you really want to “feel” the music - the Guitammer BK-Concert (also known as the Buttkicker) may be the answer.
The BK-Concert is a small, linear motor, which reacts to an audio signal sent by an amplifier. It is similar to a loudspeaker, but instead of moving a cone, and transferring sound waves through the air, it attaches to seats and floors, and sends low frequency sound directly into the listener’s body. This solves the drawback that in-ear and other small personal monitor systems have caused musicians (especially drummers and bass players). With the BK-Concert, instead of losing the all-important “feel” of the beat and the punch of the low end parts of the music, musicians can now, literally, feel the beat, and do so without adding any additional sound to the stage or house mix.
Designed specifically for musician monitoring, stage and studio use, the BK Concert has more power in the 40 — 80 Hz range than the ButtKicker® LFE and is ideal for musician monitoring, stage and studio use.
The ButtKicker Concert utilizes a patented magnetic suspension making it more powerful, musically accurate and long lasting than any other shaker or tactile transducer that use voice coil technology. One ButtKicker Concert has replaced 2–4 or more of the other types of shakers and is virtually indestructible. It is more powerful and with a resonant frequency of 9 Hz, and a range of 5-200Hz, it offers true low frequency response. |
